Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and supervises all laundry staff in daily operations
  • Maintain weekly payroll, vacation and holiday time
  • Responsible for rotating employees and recording schedules on computer
  • Verify that laundry requests are completed for each department as needed
  • Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
  • Inspect linens for damage
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all aspects of the laundry department
  • Assist practice partners in hiring, training, , evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching team members
  • Follow all the organizationโ€™s safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
  • Assures that all house linens and personals are delivered to the correct floor
  • Help with other duties as needed that support the Core Team to fulfill St Johnโ€™s mission vision and values


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently involved in lifting, pulling, pushing and reaching (up to 75 pounds). Occasionally squatting and frequently bending.


Exposure to Conditions:
