Position:                     HR Generalist

Reports to:                 Director of Human Resources

FLSA Status:               Exempt

Department:               Human Resources

Location/Shift:           Blue Ash, OH / Day (8:00-4:30pm)

Position Summary

The HR Admin is responsible for performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level, working closely with the HR team in supporting the operational needs of the department.  Candidate must have a pleasant demeanor and professional appearance to represent the Company.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, partnering with HR Director to source and screen candidates. Work closely with hiring manager and VP of Ops. Maintain relationships with recruiters and manage the ATS system for Blue Ash job openings.
  • Own and update the Onboarding/Offboarding Process of employees with guidance from HR Director
  • Provide administrative support for HR Programs, including but not limited to: Open Enrollment, PMP rollout, Harassment Training, updating, and filing of all acknowledgements
  • Work with IT in maintaining active directories/Org Charts and publishing such monthly. 
  • Maintain employee demographic lists and Employee Files.
  • Part of the HR team that recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain calendar and travel arrangements.
  • Participate in all HR projects, providing administrative ad-hoc support to the HR team as requested. 

Skills/Competencies:

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct, at all times.
  • Ability to manage up
  • Must have proficient hands-on Microsoft Office Suite platform and Adobe Acrobat ability.
  • Solid time management skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Problem solving.
  • Communication proficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Prior administrative assistant experience is required, and human resource experience is preferred.
  • Sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude
