JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily, yet not exclusively responsible for accountable for the following:
The Print Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire job after being sold by the outside salesperson. Pursuant to the Sales Department, this position has the discretion to prioritize jobs based on the employee’s business judgment and handle client changes and problems. The Print Project Manager position is entrusted with servicing all the client’s needs to ensure that the project is manufactured and delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing all aspects of the production of print jobs being submitted by the outside Sales team
Prioritizing jobs in production and outsourced jobs by effectively evaluating the production capacity of KDM and the business needs of the customers
Reviewing and checking all jobs for Quality Control and ensuring that all information on the quote that has been generated by the Estimating department.
Challenging any and all areas of concern and reaching a resolve with Estimating or the Salesperson prior to finalizing all related paperwork for submission to the Production Department.
Coordinating all jobs through production, including the following:
Use of Enterprise 32
Submitting and filling out all necessary paperwork
Sending the order confirmation to the customer
Monitoring and ensuring that all:
Shipping information is received and communicated
Proofs are sent out in a timely fashion
All materials are ordered, (ie. Boxes, substrates, hardware, etc.)
Proofs are received by the customer, approved and received back at KDM
Jobs are scheduled in a timely fashion according to deadlines
Job is packed properly and shipped on time
Job is shipped by the appropriate method, (ie. Prepaid, third party, is the company we’re using the best cost, etc.)
All related paperwork is submitted to include billing same day it received from production
Any post shipment follow up is handled (ie. Tracking numbers sent, advanced shipment notifications if applicable, etc.)
Managing all aspects of the project and may provide assistance to the President or Vice President of the company, the Salesperson, the Sales Manager or the Estimating department as needed, to ensure effective completion of the project.
Performing and completing all other work duties as assigned while meeting established deadlines.

Normal Office setting: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other normal office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes, hazardous chemicals, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Production Area setting: This position is required to work in clean, quick paced, and high efficiency manufacturing environment facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to work near moving mechanical parts at machine pace completing a variety of tasks as needed requiring extended periods of standing and lifting loads no greater than 50 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When and where necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PEP) is provided.
Position is required to establish standard/rate as set for the particular process being performed.
Office and Production Area setting: This position will spend time between both the office and production settings.
