Responsibilities

Produces, reviews, proofs, and delivers translations of hospital documents such as medical record forms, patient education materials, and marketing materials from English into the target language as assigned by the coordinator.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education2. Certification in foreign language translation - from one (1) of the following professionaltraining programs or certifications (i.e. Rapid Translate, RushTranslate, the AmericanTranslators Association (ATA), or Certified Translation Professional (CTP) ORBachelor's Degree or higher-level degree in Translation or Linguistics.3. Two (2) years' experience translating, proofreading, and editing medical materials fromEnglish to the target language in a medical setting, customer service, advocacy, or relatedfield
