Automotive Quick Lane Service Manager

Mullinax Ford is looking to fill the role of Quick Lane Service Manager, which is responsible for ensuring that customers receive excellent service. We are seeking a first-rate candidate to help take our busy Quick Lane department to the next level and to join our multi-store enterprise. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding customers’ needs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships
  • Keep up to date with new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required
  • Direct, supervise, and monitor performance of all direct report employees
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining talent
  • Engaging and motivating the team to meet performance expectations and goals
  • Ensure all parts, tools, and equipment is available and up to date for all team members to complete work
  • Ensure all employee’s receive proper training
  • Track technician productivity
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the Quick Lane department
  • Assisting other departments
  • Follow all Company procedures and standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Expectations and Qualifications for this job:

  • Automotive Service Management experience
  • Ability to provide five-star customer service
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals

  • Problem solver with stability under pressure
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet browsers, email functions and ability to learn new software
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Must be able to pass background screening and drug test
