Landscape/Hardscape Project Manager


Location: This position is based in West Chester, PA and requires travel to project sites throughout Chester County and surrounding areas.

Del Vacchio Landscapes & Christmas Decor has been creating exceptional outdoor environments throughout Chester County and the surrounding area for more than 37 years. We specialize in high-end residential landscape construction, hardscaping, drainage, outdoor lighting, landscape enhancements, and holiday decor installations. Our work ranges from custom outdoor living projects and estate properties to large-scale seasonal commercial displays.


We are seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to oversee landscape, hardscape, outdoor living, drainage, lighting, enhancement, and seasonal holiday decor projects from award through closeout. This position plays a critical role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high level of quality our clients expect. The ideal candidate is organized, financially minded, confident in the field, and able to lead crews, subcontractors, and client communication across multiple active projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple landscape, hardscape, drainage, lighting, enhancement, and holiday decor projects simultaneously
  • Lead projects from pre-construction planning through final completion
  • Develop schedules, manpower plans, material plans, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, deliveries, and internal resources
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and production
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution
  • Lead, coach, and support Foremen and Crew Leaders
  • Manage project budgets, job costing, profitability, billing, change orders, and closeout documentation
  • Enforce company safety policies and jobsite standards
  • Identify project challenges early and solve problems proactively

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the landscape, construction, site construction, civil construction, or related industry
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience is a must
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, crews, and subcontractors at the same time
  • Experience with projects ranging from small enhancements to large six-figure installations
  • Strong knowledge of hardscape construction, drainage systems, landscape installation, and outdoor living projects
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, grading plans, and specifications
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, documentation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience with project management or job costing software; LMN, Asana, or similar platforms preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
  • Ability to walk active jobsites, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
