Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves performing various groundskeeping, landscaping, and horticultural tasks. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance with room to grow within the company.


Duties

  • Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including power tools, mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching
  • Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
  • Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Assist with general groundskeeping duties such as debris removal, lawn care, gardening, and landscape clean-up
  • Maintain equipment through routine inspection and basic troubleshooting


Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools and equipment operation
  • Experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, tree care, and gardening techniques is a plus, but we are willing to train you.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment safely
  • Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols during all tasks
  • Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery efficiently and safely
  • Good physical stamina for outdoor work including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and walking across large areas.
