Looking to hire an experienced landscape foreman to help supplement our current crews. This position is full time during the growing season along with on-call work during the winters. This position required strong work ethic, knowledge of common residential & commercial landscaping services, and requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of landscape workers before, during & after projects
  • Work with project estimator to prep for projects daily and discuss any job details
  • Execute landscaping projects, including garden design, tree care and tree/shrub removal per project contracts
  • Conduct groundskeeping duties such as planting, weeding, edging and mulching
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences when on-site
  • Ensure that all work is completed according to established timelines and quality standards
  • Coordinate with General Manager & office to order project materials & ensure equipment is operational

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our shop
  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance and installation/removal
  • Proven knowledge of typical landscaping plants, trees, and gardening techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and proposals
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team & delegate responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during projects
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients, team members & management
