Job description

Position Summary: We are searching for a talented and dedicated landscaper to join our team. You will perform a range of general lawn and garden maintenance duties including weeding, mulching, garden bed maintenance, planting, pruning, edging, lawn care and pressure washing.

As the landscaper, you will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our gardens including trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. You may also be responsible for maintaining the pond pumps and lawn: mowing, edging and garden structures.

The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge in plants, lawn care, running power equipment, strong organization skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete landscape maintenance duties such as Spring and Fall clean-ups, pruning, edging, mulching, planting, weeding, and pressure washing
  • Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other duties
  • Apply fertilizer to help enhance growth
  • Prune trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Weeding, mulching, pruning, and seasonal leaf cleanup
  • Maintain the landscaping design and ensure plant growth
  • Plant trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
  • Coordinate with supervisor to ensure the garden meets the client’s expectations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • 2 years of experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role preferred
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment including but not limited to, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
  • Knowledge of basic lawn and garden maintenance
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Must have reliable transportation

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Good stamina and physical health
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat and cold temperatures
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs


Working Hours:

  • Part Time: Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm
  • Occasional weekends
