Job description

Looking to hire an experienced landscape foreman to help supplement our current crews. This position is full time during the growing season along with on-call work during the winters. This position required strong work ethic, knowledge of common residential & commercial landscaping services, and requires a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of landscape workers before, during & after projects
- Work with project estimator to prep for projects daily and discuss any job details 
- Execute landscaping projects, including garden design, tree care and tree/shrub removal per project contracts
- Conduct groundskeeping duties such as planting, weeding, edging and mulching
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences when on-site 
- Ensure that all work is completed according to established timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate with General Manager & office to order project materials & ensure equipment is operational
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our shop 
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and installation/removal
-  Proven knowledge of typical landscaping plants, trees, and gardening techniques
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and proposals
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team & delegate responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during projects
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, team members & management
