Landscape Designer II (3+ years) - AutoCAD, Site Design, Grading, ADA


Design site development projects in Rochester, from parks and campuses to municipal infrastructure, while building toward licensure and greater design ownership.


Work alongside civil and transportation engineers on grading, site layout, ADA details, and construction-ready documents for projects that shape Upstate New York communities.


What You'll Do

  • Produce technical documents and construction drawings for small projects; support the design and production of larger multidisciplinary projects.
  • Contribute to site design, grading plans, layout development, ADA implementation, and construction-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate design requirements with civil, transportation, planning, and other team members to keep project work aligned and moving.
  • Conduct product and material research; develop practical design and product solutions and present them for consideration.
  • Apply office standard details and adapt them to project-specific requirements while maintaining strong drawing organization and project file integrity.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of landscape architecture experience and a degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Progress toward landscape architecture licensure and interest in increasing design ownership.
  • Strong AutoCAD, technical production, documentation, and task-management skills.
