MAINTENANCE CREW MEMBER – LION GROUP SERVICES

Position Overview

The Commercial Landscape Crew Member supports the execution of commercial landscape services by completing assigned field tasks that help maintain safe, functional, and well-kept outdoor environments. This role focuses on reliable task completion, adherence to quality and safety standards, and respectful care of the properties entrusted to Commercial Landscape Management.

Core Results & Accountability

The Commercial Landscape Crew Member is accountable for contributing to the following outcomes:

  • Supporting the Project Supervisor in completing landscape projects on time and within budget
  • Performing assigned landscape tasks accurately and efficiently, following established instructions and procedures
  • Maintaining job sites that reflect CLM standards for quality, safety, and organization

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete landscape installation and maintenance tasks as directed by the Foreman or Project Supervisor
  • Follow established work methods to ensure consistent quality and safe execution of tasks
  • Perform work in a manner that minimizes disruption and protects client property and surrounding areas
  • Comply with all safety requirements and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment issues
  • Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and professional job sites
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team needs

Pay: (Based on experience):
  - Without Driver's License: starting at $17/hr 
  - With Driver's License: starting at $18

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically active outdoor work for extended periods of time, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; occasional team lifting may involve heavier items.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power equipment, and small machinery commonly used in commercial landscape maintenance and installation.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and exposure to dust and pollen.
  • Ability to safely enter and exit company vehicles and work trailers multiple times throughout the day.
  • Sufficient visual acuity and spatial awareness to safely operate tools and equipment and to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members in a field environment.
