Job description

Directs field operations, manages crews (typically 2โ€“5+ members), and ensures quality, safety, and profitability for projects. They are responsible for scheduling, training staff, maintaining equipment, communicating with clients, and performing hands-on work. This role requires 3+ years of experience, strong horticultural knowledge, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily crew tasks, site preparation, installation, and maintenance, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise crew members, conducting performance appraisals and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Quality Control & Safety: Ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality expectations, including proper use of PPE and machinery.
  • Client & Project Management: Act as the main liaison between clients, project managers, and crew, handling on-site communication and troubleshooting.
