As a Landscape Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of residential landscape maintenance clients. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, managing quality assurance, and driving enhancement sales. This role blends relationship management with project oversight, allowing you to directly impact both customer satisfaction and company growth. You will oversee enhancement proposals from concept through project completion while also ensuring high standards are maintained across all maintenance services.

Responsibilities for the Landscape Account Manager include:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular site visits, communication, and service updates;
  • Creating enhancement designs and proposals that align with client goals and budgets, and successfully closing sales;
  • Serving as the project manager for enhancement work, overseeing procurement, scheduling, and execution in collaboration with the Production Manager;
  • Monitoring contract performance and ensuring properties are maintained to company standards through consistent quality checks and follow-up;
  • Addressing client questions, concerns, or complaints in a timely, professional manner and proactively identifying service improvements or upsell opportunities;
  • Managing client renewals and working to retain accounts through positive experiences and high-quality service delivery;
  • Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules based on client needs and feedback;
  • Maintaining accurate records in relevant company software and supporting vendor relationships for plant and material procurement;
  • Proposing seasonal rotations and enhancements to clients, coordinating installs, and providing care direction to ensure long-term success of plantings and landscape features.


Requirements for the Landscape Account Manager include:

  • 5+ years of related experience in landscape account management, enhancement sales, or landscape construction;
  • 3+ years of personnel and project management experience;
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close enhancement sales, and build long-term client relationships;
  • Broad knowledge of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction practices;
  • Strong understanding of estimating, materials, labor, and timelines for landscape projects;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both internally and externally;
  • Proficiency in relevant technology and software systems;
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
