Job description

Lemcke Landscape is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead one of our maintenance crews. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a 2-3 person team while actively participating in daily landscape maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, values customer service, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Communication

  • Meet daily with management to review project details and expectations
  • Lead, supervise, and work alongside a 2-3 person crew
  • Assign tasks and monitor crew performance to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Train new team members in proper landscaping and maintenance techniques
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners to address requests and ensure satisfaction

Operations & Field Work

  • Complete daily landscape maintenance, including:
  • Mulching, edging, pruning, and trimming
  • Pulling weeds and maintaining landscape beds
  • Planting seasonal annuals
  • Fertilizer application
  • Watering plants and turf as needed
  • Leaf and debris cleanup (including fall cleanups)
  • Sweeping walkways and general property cleanup
  • Prune large shrubs and small tree limbs
  • Operate small machinery safely at both the shop and job sites
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Complete daily work tickets accurately
  • Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites
  • Pick up materials from local landscape suppliers when needed

Safety

  • Follow and enforce company safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all crew members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of landscape industry experience
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

  • Full-Time Position
  • $19 - $24 per hour (based on experience and skills)
  • Monthly Attendance Bonus
  • 401(k) with 3% company match (After 1 year of working)
  • 5 Paid Holidays
  • 40 Hours PTO after first season (upon returning for second season)
  • Company-provided uniforms
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 7:45am-4:45pm.

Work Saturdays only in peak season in Spring and Fall.
