Property Manager: Landscape Maintenance Position Summary

Join a well-established and growing landscape company dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating beautiful outdoor environments throughout Southeast Wisconsin.

The Property Manager: Landscape Maintenance is responsible for the overall success of a portfolio of commercial and residential landscape maintenance accounts by leading Foremen and field crews, building strong client relationships, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the company's quality standards.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role, with approximately 75% of time spent on client properties overseeing crews, conducting site visits, communicating with clients, and resolving issues. Success in this role requires strong leadership, proactive communication, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

The ideal candidate enjoys developing people, solving problems, building lasting client relationships, and leading by example.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Project & Crew Management
  • Lead and direct landscape maintenance and enhancement crews.
  • Manage landscape maintenance & enhancement projects, ensuringtimelyand high-quality execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress and proactively address issues.
  • Assistwith scheduling, workflow coordination, andmaintainingefficient daily operations.
  • Ensure company quality standards and safety expectations are consistently upheld.
Client Relations & Sales
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through excellent communication and service.
  • Provide estimates and proposals for enhancement projects andadditionalservices.
  • Identifyopportunities forenhancement sales within the existing client base.
  • Assistin achieving departmental sales and renewal goals.
Training & Team Development
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and overall job performance.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of field employees.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Field Support
  • Provide hands-on support during peak workloads or when operational needs require.
  • Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanup.
  • Troubleshoot field challenges and help crews find practical solutions to keep projects moving efficiently.
