Village Gardener is looking for a hands-on Construction Foreman who knows how to take a set of plans and bring them to life—on time, on budget, and with pride.
You’ll oversee a crew and trusted to own the job from layout to final walkthrough. If you love creating lasting outdoor spaces and leading from the front, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
• Lead 2–6 crew members in landscape construction projects (hardscape, irrigation, planting, grading)
• Manage daily site operations: materials, schedules, safety, and quality control
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints accurately
• Run skid steers, excavators, compactors, and other equipment with confidence
• Communicate clearly with Project Managers and clients on progress and punch lists
• Solve problems in real-time and keep jobs moving
• Track time, materials, and progress with daily accountability
What You Need
• Minimum 3 years in landscape or construction leadership
• Proficiency in hardscapes, grading, and equipment operation
• Ability to read and understand plans and site layouts
• A clean driving record (CDL a plus)
• Strong leadership, accountability, and pride in your work
• Willingness to train, grow, and uphold our standard of excellence
