Great Oaks Landscape Associates, located in Novi, Michigan, is a recognized leader in the industry for its landscape design-build and maintenance expertise. We are looking for a Landscape Foreman to join our team!

The foreman is a hands-on working position, supervising a team of up to 8 crew members. Responsible for making crew decisions with the guidance of the Project Managers. 5 years prior landscaping experience is required with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise landscape installation operations.
  • Review landscape design with landscape designer & project managers.
  • Train and mentor landscaping crew employees;
  • Supervise employees on the job site
  • How to use landscape install equipment
  • Installation of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Ensure work is completed per plans and specifications as well as with the client's expectations
  • Promote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment
  • Lead, train, and develop employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Capable of operating required equipment (Skid steers etc) & tools in a safe/responsible manner.

  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools & equipment required to complete various landscaping tasks.
