Job description

Summary
Responsible for directing the efforts of lawn care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesย 

  1. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
  2. Operate ground maintenance equipment.
  3. Drive trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites.
  4. Prune trees and shrubs.
  5. Plan to landscape projects, including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, and trimming.
  6. Schedule work for 10 โ€“ 12 homes and check for weather conditions before convening.
  7. Enforce contract agreements.
  8. Mow lawns with riding and self-propelled walk behind mowers.ย 
  9. Whack weeds, trim bushes, and edge lawns using a variety of machines.
  10. Sweep walkway of debris.
  11. Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
  12. Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
  13. Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in ground keeping.
  14. Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.ย 
  15. Other duties may be assigned.ย

Education Requirements: ย 

ย  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.

Experience Requirements: ย 

ย  Previous landscape/lawn care experience.

  • Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.ย

  1. Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision as well as can work cooperatively as a team member. ย 
  2. Must be able to follow through with projects in a timely manner.ย 
  3. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations
  4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, general business instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.ย 
  5. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.ย 
  6. Ability to deal with daily operational challenges with a calm demeanor.
