Job description

We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our Land Development team at our Overland Park location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include residential and commercial developments, schools, churches, hospitals, living centers, parks, athletic facilities, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and more.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide drafting support to engineers and designers for land development and municipal-related projects, including site planning, grading, streets, water, wastewater, and drainage.
  • Create drawings with input from designers and engineers.
  • Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers.
  • Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.

Requirements:
  • 1-3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Experience in MicroStation and InRoads will be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of local standards is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
  • Excellent time management skills.
