This is a hands-on role with real project responsibility and a clear path for professional development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Perform engineering design, analysis, and calculations for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout
• Support design and coordination for energy-sector infrastructure projects, including electric, fiber, and oil amp; gas site civil work
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and technical reports for site development and energy clients
• Assist with project management tasks including schedule tracking, client communications, and coordination with subconsultants and contractors
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation as needed
• Support permitting and regulatory submissions with state and federal agencies, including E amp;S and stormwater approvals

• Preferred: 1–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience (internship experience counts)
• Preferred: Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software
• Preferred: Experience with land development, site civil design, or energy-sector infrastructure (electric, fiber, or oil amp; gas)
• Plus: PE licensure or active progress toward licensure
• Plus: Knowledge of WV and Mid-Atlantic regulatory requirements for land development and energy projects
BENEFITS
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; a Health Savings Account with company contributions; company-paid short- and long-term disability; and a $100,000 life insurance policy paid for by the company. We also offer supplemental life, dental, and vision insurance, along with accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness coverage for added peace of mind.
We invest in our employees' futures through a traditional and Roth 401(k) with up to a 4% company match, profit sharing, and discretionary bonuses. Employees enjoy paid time off, paid parental leave, and support for continuing education and professional registrations, plus assistance with warehouse club memberships, gym fees, and race entry fees.
We recognize the importance of work-life balance and offer schedule flexibility within a family-oriented culture, including Flex Fridays — a chance for employees to wrap up early once their week's work is done.
