Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Forklift Operator to join our laminate flooring manufacturing and distribution team in Anniston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and accurately operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials and finished products throughout our warehouse and production facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport, load, and unload laminate flooring materials and finished products
  • Inspect forklifts before each shift to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately
  • Stack and organize materials according to warehouse layout specifications and inventory management systems
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
  • Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and production teams to coordinate material flow
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning to keep forklifts in optimal working condition
  • Verify product quality and integrity during handling and storage operations
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits as needed
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret inventory management systems and documentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
