Lago is one of the preeminent restaurants located in the heart of the flats neighborhood of Cleveland, OH.

Lago's cuisine is ingredient-focused and led by the unyielding dedication of award-winning Chef Fabio Salerno. Lago seamlessly transitions from serving business lunches to upscale dinner dining and lively, energetic late-night lounging.


In our pursuit of excellence, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and career-driven server, who will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, an immaculate presentation, and a friendly attitude working within a very demanding and exciting environment. While the ideal candidate will have solid high-end, fine dining work experience, working at Lago will require an eagerness for learning and development.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage options.
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.

Skills
