Roncalli High School on the southside of Indianapolis hiring a Head Girls Lacrosse Coach.The head coach of a varsity boys or girls team is accountable to the Athletic Director and is charged with overseeing all aspects of their respective program (freshman through varsity teams).General Responsibilities:-Interviews and recommends to the athletic director assistant coaches for the program-Is devoted and dedicated to the overall success of the program-Oversees and mentors the coaching staff in an effort to insure appropriate player and team development-Responsible for the development and implementation of effective practice plans-Responsible for having the program's athletes/team well prepared for their athletic contests-Is effective in communicating with and motivating the athletes in their program-Responsible for monitoring the academic progress of the program's athletes as well as their eligibility under the rules of the IHSAA.-Serves as a role model for all in their program as it relates to sportsmanship and professional behavior-Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with school administration, assistant coaches, players, and parents-Oversees the reporting of all scores and submission of statistics in a timely manner and in accordance with the school's protocol in this area-Faith Community/Catholic Character:-Insures that the mission statement and the Catholic character of the school is integrated into their respective program.
