Job Title: Senior Specialist, Systems Integration Engineer

Job Description:

The systems integration engineer will be responsible for executing hardware and software system integration, system characterization, troubleshooting, verification and validation of complex systems. 

The Agile Development Group (ADG) specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

  • System integration and testing activities for a complex hardware/software system.

  • Perform design verification testing efforts including lab, chamber, ground, and flight test.

  • Assess, troubleshoot, and develop mitigation strategies for complex system issues. Fabricate parts and tools.

  • Develop and run simulations and other analysis tools to predict system performance in various environments.

  • Analyze data from design verification test efforts.

  • Track and present technical performance results.

  • Author test plan procedures, non-conformance reports, requirements, and other system engineering CDRLs.

  • Contribute to trade studies.

  • Use Agile PLM, Sunflower, Windchill.

  • Participate in proposal activities, both cost and technical.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related engineering experience.

  • Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in unmanned aircraft or guided weapon systems.

  • Hands-on system integration experience, cross-discipline engineering, verification and validation testing, and system performance characterization.

  • Experience integrating typical payloads like sensors or communications into air vehicles.

  • Experience with MBSE, MATLAB, LabView, Python, or C/C++/C#.

  • Experience in Control Account Management as part of an Earned Value Management System.

  • Experience with proposal development including generating basis of estimates.

  • Experience in development of use cases and requirements developed from customer objectives and concepts of operations. 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500 - $197,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
