Job description

Technical/Functional Skills
• Proven experience in architecting, building, and deploying scalable test systems and fixture solutions for high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing test flows including IQC, electrical validation, visual inspection, and end-of-line testing.
• Expertise in defining test strategies, coverage models, and validation frameworks for complex products.
• Advanced failure analysis (FA), triaging, and root cause analysis across electrical, RF, and system-level issues.
• Experience with NPI cycles, including test readiness, commissioning, and ramp-to-production optimization.
• Strong understanding of manufacturability, calibration processes, and Gauge R&R for production reliability.
• Expertise in yield analysis, marginal pass/fail criteria definition, and test limit optimization.
• Exposures to test automation and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent frameworks).
• Experience integrating hardware test systems with existing software frameworks.
• System engineering mindset with deep exposure to fixture design (mechanical + electrical integration).
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, power meters, and RF chambers.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and drive end-to-end test engineering Activities at vendor sites and the ensure the quality of the delivery from vendor engineering / technical team
• Own test fixtures lifecycle: vendor coordination, validation, deployment, and factory performance monitoring.
• Ensure all test systems and fixtures are built, validated, and functioning reliably in production.
• Define and enforce test strategy, methodologies, and paradigms across programs.
• Act as first line of defense for issue triaging, failure debugging, and first-pass failure analysis (FA).
• Conduct and lead cross-functional XF meetings with engineering teams for technical issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with EE aspects such as power supply validation, signal integrity, and IQC processes.
• Drive manufacturability improvements, calibration readiness, and test process maturity.
• Plan and execute test coverage, test preparation, and commissioning for NPI programs.
• Analyze marginal pass/fail trends and optimize test limits to improve yield and reduce escapes.
• Act as a technical mediator between design, manufacturing, vendors, and customers to reduce engineering cycle time.
• Serve as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for test-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Support Design of Experiments (DoE) to identify root causes and optimize test processes.
• Ensure continuous improvement in test efficiency, robustness, and scalability.

Salary Range: $70,000-$130,000 a year
