Testing Engineer
Location: Raritan, NJ
Type: Contract Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a Testing Engineer to support product reliability testing and experimentation activities. The role involves conducting laboratory experiments, maintaining test equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration standards, and documenting test results. The candidate will work both independently and under supervision to contribute to product testing and validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct experiments, research, and test activities related to product reliability.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Report progress, follow up on issues, and escalate when needed.
  • Document testing processes, outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean and maintain lab equipment, glassware, and tools.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables.
  • Interface with Metrology department to ensure timely instrument calibration.
  • Troubleshoot issues using written technical material and guidelines.
  • Build test experiments and execute LabVIEW test programs.
  • Perform local travel (up to 5%) as required.
Mandatory Skills
  • Hands-on experience with electronic laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and report effectively.
  • Familiarity with test programming tools (e.g., LabVIEW).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications in soldering, crimping, electronics assembly, ESD, quality, or reliability.
