Job Summary:

They are seeking a Test System Automation Software Engineer II to lead automation efforts in manufacturing operations, ensuring stable ownership of critical software and enhancing production-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as technical owner for software automaton supporting manufacturing acceptance test and visual inspection stations.
• Provide expert-level support for production-critical issues.
• Lead application enhancements, migrations, and modernization efforts driven by user needs, instrumentation and infrastructure changes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to perform automation application updates, manage technical risk, and coordinate releases.
• Establish and maintain required SDLC documentation, testing, and release.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant software engineering experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience in software engineering.
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication competencies.
Preferred:
• Proficiency in National Instruments Labview and TestStand is strongly preferred to be successful in this role.
• Proficiency in automated test equipment integration.
• Strong knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, testing, release).
• Experience with multiple modern and legacy Windows Operating Systems.
• Proven ability to support production systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in equipment configuration management, source control, Digital IO, and automation of test instrumentation.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Familiarity with manufacturing traceability systems.
