ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize Construction is seeking a seasonal, full-time Labourer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This role plays a crucial part in supporting construction operations by performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure job site efficiency and safety. The successful candidate will assist with general site maintenance, material handling, and equipment operation. This is a full-time seasonal position.


WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Perform minor truck and equipment maintenance.
  • Check grades to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain clean job sites by performing shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other general labor duties.
  • Assist with hauling trailers when required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience: Road construction experience
Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel between job sites within the City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas


Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
  • Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
