Summary:
The Infection Prevention RN manages all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program.
Responsibilities:
Manages the planning, development and implementation of the overall operational objectives, goals and processes.
Establishes and assures compliance of infection prevention policies and procedures to meet all accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Manages recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development and performance management processes for the staff of assigned departments.
Manages the development of department operating and capital budgets and achievement of financial goals.
Collaborates with the development and implementation of appropriate infection control education for the SVR campus.
Provides collaboration and leadership guidance when new infection control and related developments occur within the organization or within the medical community.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
BSN or Master's degree in Epidemiology preferred
5+ years as an Infection Preventionist.
Florida Department of Health Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Certified Infection Control Preferred
Registered Nurse Florida Department of Health Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure required.
