Job Description
Provides safe transport of laboratory specimens, documents, and laboratory materials within the community, including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta locations and community physician practices. Proactively supports efforts that ensures delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
  • 1 year of parking or transportation experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial driver's license

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Handle and transport medical specimens with precision, strictly following safety and storage protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of deliveries and pickups, noting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Foster clear and professional communication with laboratory staff, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Comply with all laboratory policies and procedures concerning specimen transport.
