Job Summary

BioLegend is looking for a Data Entry Clerk to play a key role in supporting and streamlining manufacturing operations by working closely with cross-functional production teams. This position is responsible for processing production orders, generating labels for Quality Control (QC) samples and bulk materials produced by the Manufacturing teams, and partnering with inventory controllers to establish and maintain accurate bin locations for purified and conjugated bulk products.

This role also ensures the integrity and organization of manufacturing documentation by reviewing, verifying, scanning, and uploading batch records into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In addition, the Data Entry Clerk will support the Inventory and Planning teams by coordinating the resubmission of re-test samples and assisting with other operational tasks as needed.

The working hours for this position are 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Essential Functions

  • Enter relevant manufacturing data into ERP systems to help complete production orders, and create production labels. Assist with batch records; review, verify, and scan batch records.

  • Assist manufacturing teams with a variety of administrative tasks.

  • Generate weekly and daily electronic reports

  • File and maintain data printouts

  • Maintain sample and controls inventories

  • Perform job duties under ISO requirements and follow SOPs and/or work instructions

  • Other projects or responsibilities as required.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • High school diploma (or GED) with 6 months of data entry experience; Or

  • Associates degree in a science or related field; Or

  • Biotechnology Certificate

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Prior hands-on experience with Microsoft Navision System (NAV) or other ERP systems

  • Some academic or industry laboratory experience

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes

The base salary range for this full-time position is $18.50 - $24.75/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
