Laboratory/Laboratory Assistant

Duration: 13 Weeks Start: 01/12/2026 Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (21:15 - 05:45)

Description: Laboratory Assistant is responsible for collecting, labeling, and preparing patient specimens while adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. They assist in performing routine laboratory tests, operate basic lab equipment, and maintain accurate documentation within laboratory systems. The role includes organizing records, ensuring the lab is clean and well-stocked, and supporting daily operational needs. Laboratory Assistants are expected to follow infection-control guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and all laboratory compliance standards at all times.

Unit Details: Performs Certified Phlebotomy Tech (CPT) duties; collects blood specimens for a variety of Laboratory tests using age-appropriate techniques; handles/transports Lab specimens and provides post-phlebotomy care to patients.

Requirements: CPT 1 CA License 2 YEARS
