Position Summary

The General Laborer – Sanitation is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational support throughout the facility. This includes cleaning assigned areas, operating industrial cleaning equipment, handling inventory, and assisting with general labor duties to support manufacturing operations. The role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to work independently.

Hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties including cleaning and organizing plant areas.
  • Operate power industrial vehicles such as floor scrubbers.
  • Clean assigned areas according to the cleaning schedule (sweeping, mopping, surface wiping, garbage disposal, etc.).
  • Use a power washer to clean various facility components.
  • Move, lift, and organize items to support inventory and operational needs.
  • Support manufacturing operations through general labor tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to perform physical labor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
