About this RoleAs an expanding company, R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Laborer who is experienced, self-motivated, able to work and adapt in fast-paced environments, and willing to embrace the challenges of working with evolving tasks and structures. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Southeast United States.Â
What You'll Do- Serves as general project laborerÂ
- Assists in loading and unloading trucksÂ
- Responsible for housekeeping-related tasks for the equipment, facility, tools, and jobsiteÂ
- Cleans up and assists superintendent with securing jobsite at end of dayÂ
- Works as spotter for equipment operators to ensure safe operation of machineryÂ
- Provides general assistance as requested to operators, foremen, leadmen and SuperintendentsÂ
- Serves as general support to project teams Â
- Actively identifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and communicates to appropriate team membersÂ
- Comply with all DOT regulations and reporting requirements related to CDL status (if applicable)Â
- Previous experience in construction, civil, or foundation work preferredÂ
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safetyÂ
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditionsÂ
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended periodsÂ
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive labor tasksÂ
- Clear communication skills and the ability to take directions from supervisors and crew leadersÂ
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where neededÂ
- Familiarity with basic tools and construction equipmentÂ
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plusÂ
