As a Staff I4.0 Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will look into applying industry-leading the best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron's product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Initial focus of this position will be to support FE-SMAI Quality pillar initiatives, which includes: Identification and pioneering new solutions driven by business needs from idea inception phase to prototyping and proof of concept delivery to end users. Deployment of existing FE smart-manufacturing solutions to FE sites including assisting in user acceptance testing, capturing of enhancement requests and documenting business benefits and impact of project. Coordinate SMAI tactical support on current top Quality issues faced by end users at FE sites.
  • Work with business users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of I4.0 for Smart Manufacturing
  • Identify gaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in solution today
  • Define business solution and propose project for implementation
  • Lead projects and activities that will require the coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams
  • Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities
  • Use metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years' experience in Quality management or Process Equipment Engineering department.
  • Possess strong domain knowledge of fab processes and good understanding of quality systems. Experienced in quality improvement activities.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing projects.
  • Excellent in communication, team work, and collaboration with other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong program or project management skills.
