Shift Details

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Paid Shift Differential
  • Air-Conditioned Production Facility

Position Summary

The Press Support team member assists Flexo Press Operators with press setup, production runs, material staging, and maintaining production efficiency. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the printing and packaging industry.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist Press Operators with the setup and production of flexographic label jobs.
  • Read and follow customer job tickets and work instructions
  • Stage materials, tools, cylinders, dies, inks, and laminations for upcoming jobs
  • Help perform machine make-ready and wash-up procedures
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished rolls
  • Pull stock from inventory and verify materials
  • Support auxiliary press equipment setup
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
  • Assist other departments, including rewind operations, as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Manufacturing or printing experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools are helpful
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
  • Good attendance and reliability are required
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements
