Job description

2nd Shift Material Handler

Location: Milford/Newtown
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 4 PM - 12 AM
Starting Pay: $18/hr - Eligible for benefits and pay increase once hired full-time!

Responsibilities:
  • Through the company, obtain a forklift license to operate powered or non-powered equipment.
  • Move materials to and from assigned areas using the powered and non-powered equipment.
  • Stock machines with correct cartons from the carton staging areas; this requires the operator to know the product code.
  • Verify that the completed product is coded correctly.
  • Following EHS company guidelines, properly dispose of solid and liquid waste materials using established procedures.
  • Maintain the assigned area, making sure it is clear.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be organized and keep accurate records of production count and materials moved.
  • Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Mental and visual concentration must be maintained while on the floor.
  • Has average manual dexterity.
Requirements:
  • Must have proficient math skills and be able to read, write, add, and subtract.
  • Must obtain a forklift license to operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
