Job description

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Material Handler to join our VALUES based organization in Hebron, OH.

Starting Pay Rate ($18/hour)

In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Safely operate forklifts in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
  • Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
  • Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
  • Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.

Required credentials:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
  • Prior lumber experience desired.
  • Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
  • Must have basic math and analytical skills.
