Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for dispensing and labeling of finished products including scheduling of the activities and preparation of labels and packages. Follows SOP for dispensing and labeling in an efficient and safe manner with minimum supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Dispensing of finished products according to manufacturing and shipping schedule.
  • Prepare labels that are met to regulatory requirement for products and shipments by utilizing label software and printing equipment.
  • Prepare finished products by completing dispensing and labeling and packaging as needed.
  • Process Dispensing tickets in MRP in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies which are used for Dispensing
  • Support and backup relief for other personnel, as needed
  • Maintain an efficient workplace; work safely and be proactive with safety issues. Responsible for safety and housekeeping in direct work areas
  • Develop and/or take part in key strategies for the ultimate success of SDC’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • DOT/IATA qualified to package and ship hazardous materials, Annual training to be provided. In-house certified forklift operator. ISO and inventory control skills experience a plus.
