Job Summary
The Graduate Administrative Assistant position for the College of Science and Engineering is responsible for performing lab monitoring, assisting the IT staff with the daily operations of computer labs, including troubleshooting, installation of hardware and software, etc., and other duties as assigned by the Dean's Office.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must be a current Troy University graduate student.
2. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, in English.
3. Ability to work individually researching solutions to problems.
4. Ability to become certified in the current version of Canvas.
5. Ability to become proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Any IT related certifications.
2. Experience with computer lab management in higher education.
3. Experience in computer software and hardware installation and troubleshooting.
4. In the Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences program.
