JOB TITLE: Technology Lab Manager                                         WAGE/HOUR STATUS:   Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO:  Principal                                                              PAY GRADE:  Clerical (3)

DEPT/SCHOOL: Campus/Technology                                         DAYS EMPLOYED187

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The technology lab manager will prepare and deliver technology lessons prepared in partnership with the Technology Department in the instruction of technology applications for all students; will perform administrative duties as they apply to the up keep and management of technology items on campus; and will troubleshoot campus hardware and software problems. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

            Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED, willing to acquire technical knowledge - Required

Associated Degree - preferred 

            Special Knowledge/Skills:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of the Technology Application TEKS K-5

Knowledgeable of basic teaching skills

Knowledge and proficiency with computers; ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems; be able to relate to the needs of students; be able to work well with all staff members
