Patient Populations Include:

  • STEMI
  • TAVR
  • Pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs)
  • Watchman procedures
  • Coronary Heart Disease
  • Pulmonary Hypertension
  • Cardiogenic Shock
  • Peripheral Vascular Disease

Call Requirements

  • 30โ€‘minute response time
  • Rotating call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays

Procedural and Clinical Skills:

Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two (2) years of acute care experience; such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Additional advanced life support certifications may be required based on unit or department specialty
