What You will Do:
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration

Oversee and manage equipment maintenance programs, ensuring all lab instruments are operational, calibrated, and compliant with industry standards

Manage calibration schedules and maintain Equipment Calibration Records including calibration certificates, as-found/as-left data, and next-due tracking

Coordinate with external calibration vendors and internal teams to minimize equipment downtime

Test Execution & SOP Management

Ensure strict execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all lab activities

Conduct and oversee test executions across environmental, mechanical, electrical, and metrology disciplines

Operate and manage specialized equipment including Instron, ESD simulators, Environmental chambers, CT/CMM scanners, FTIR spectrometers

Generate comprehensive Test Execution Reports with pass/fail results, environmental conditions, and anomaly notes

Develop, review, and update SOP documentation for equipment and processes

Lab Administration & Onboarding

Manage lab access onboarding for new team members and vendors

Oversee inventory management, consumables tracking, and reorder processes

Maintain Lab Inventory Reports including inventory levels, consumption rates, and reorder recommendations

Preventive Maintenance

Own and drive the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for all lab equipment

Maintain PM completion logs with findings, replacements, and next-due dates

Proactively identify and address equipment issues before they impact operations

What You Will Bring:

Qualifications / Requirements 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical discipline

Experience: 5+ years of experience in lab operations, equipment management, or R&D lab environment

Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations in lab settings

Experience with data-driven KPI tracking and reporting tools

Background in NPI (New Product Introduction) validation testing

Skills & Competencies 

Hands-on experience with environmental test chambers, Instron/mechanical testers, ESD simulators, CT/CMM scanners, and/or FTIR spectrometers

Strong understanding of calibration standards and metrology principles

Proficiency in electrical and mechanical rework/assembly

Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions

Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and scheduling

Familiarity with inventory management systems and consumables tracking

Strong organizational and project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Pay Range: $120000 - $130000.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

This role is considered an on-site position located in New York
