Reports To (Manager): Lab Manager
Supervisor (if different): Lab Packaging Supervisor
Position Summary
The Lab Packager is responsible for assisting with all phases of CULTA's packaging operations including regulatory compliance, weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis, as well as ensuring the accuracy of packaging and labeling.
Key Responsibilities
Weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis.
Follow all aspects of CULTA's packaging and labeling policies and procedures.
Maintain accuracy of packaging and labeling.
Ensure no diversion of cannabis products occur and report and incidents or suspicions of diversion to the Lab Packaging Supervisor.
Ensure that packaging and labeling meets the requirements of applicable state and federal laws.
Ensure that all containers are appropriately labeled, including secondary containers.
Follow SOPs on packaging and labeling are followed, maintained, and updated as needed.
Maintain sanitation and quality control practices that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis during the packaging and labeling process.
Ensure all weighing equipment is certified, calibrated, and up-to-date.
Ensure packaging and labeling areas are kept clean, organized, and sanitary.
Sanitize all packaging and labeling equipment and tools including workspace, utensils, containers, and appliances.
Maintains quality control measures to ensure high quality product.
Assist the Inventory Manager with the weighing, packaging, labeling, and documentation of all products.
Additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
This position requires regular, on-site attendance during scheduled shifts.
Employees must be punctual and prepared to begin work at their scheduled start time.
Shifts may vary based on production demands, inventory volume, and operational needs.
Overtime, early start times, late shifts, weekends, or holidays may be required as business needs dictate.
Schedule changes may occur with short notice; flexibility is essential in this role.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
