C3 Industries is a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with multiple product brands including the award-winning Cloud Cover Cannabis, Galactic Cannabis, Habitat Cannabis, and a retail network, High Profile Cannabis Shop. The company retails high-quality cannabis products at its High Profile locations in Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

We are looking for a Processing Technician who is responsible for assisting with processing cannabis into extracts by different methods and ensuring they stay within the facilities daily production schedule.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

City: St. Louis, MO

Pay Rate: $17.50

*Eligible for $0.50 hourly wage increase after 90 days of employment

In this role you will....

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Preparation of biomass and equipment for extraction.
  • Perform specific extraction processes and refine concentrate into desired consistency; perform distillations of extracts and solvents.
  • Record data and movement within laboratory processing notebooks; enter data into laboratory database.
  • Set up, troubleshoot and perform routine and preventative maintenance on instruments.
  • Operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
  • Take inventory of all materials including materials, supplies, consumables, spare parts for equipment etc.
  • Monitor supply of goods for extraction needs, and coordinate with Lab Manager to ensure ordering is taking place.
  • Work cohesively with Lead Processing Technician, Lab Manager and VP Manufactured Products to develop and revise SOP's.
  • Actively participate in internal and external inspection and audits.
  • Obtains training and certification to utilize all extraction equipment, and actively research new equipment and methods for extraction.
  • Execution of laboratory operations in accordance with all written SOP's and in accordance to local and state regulations.

Skills and experience you have...

  • Working knowledge of current safety protocols and experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn variety of systems.
  • Distillation experience with spinning band or short path preferred.
  • Experience working with compressed gases and with high pressure is preferred.
  • Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and/ or holidays.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
