Job Summary
Job Description
Manages all engineering activities within a department including design, development, production and testing. Implements and maintains overall engineering objectives and initiatives. Responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems.
Responsibilities & Duties
Supervise and lead engineers/technicians designing machinery
Supervise and lead laboratories engineers/technicians team
Oversee production and quality control.
Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve development efficiency.
Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in plants.
Oversee the research and development of new products and procedures.
Discuss and lay out project specifications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
