Job Summary
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager develops and manages all import and export regulations and policies. .
Job Description
Develops/manages all import and export regulations and policies. Coordinates customs audits and inquires. Assist in negotiating international freight and broker/forwarder contracts and requirements. Develop international trade policies and procedures. Manage all adherence to all license requirements and insure that all certifications and requirements are met-e.g. (NAFTA, CTPAT, ITAR,EAR. ) Work closely with technical and legal entities to ensure tariff classification compliance. Develops and implements logistics services to support each element of a business area's supply chain model.
Skills and Experience
  • 7-10 years of international trade experience with multi-national company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and work with senior management on complex trade issues
  • Good problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas in order to provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain productive business relationships
  • Knowledge of TSA requirements
  • Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment and materials and processes.

Education
  • B.S. in international business, or similar field, or equivalent, required.
