A GI Lab RN Travel Nurse is a registered nurse who specializes in gastroenterology procedures, such as endoscopies and colonoscopies, and works on temporary assignments at different healthcare facilities. These nurses assist physicians during procedures, monitor patient vital signs, and provide pre- and post-procedure care. As travel nurses, they work on short-term contracts, allowing them to gain experience in a variety of clinical settings while filling staffing shortages across the country.

Excellent communication, adaptability, and the ability to quickly integrate into new teams help you stand out in diverse clinical environments. These skills ensure patient safety, efficient procedure support, and successful adaptation to the unique demands of travel nursing assignments.
