Ketjen] is hiring for a lab technician. This position is located in the Bayport site R&T department,

What You Will Do

  • FST Test Unit.

    Unit operation in accordance with lab procedures.

    Unit maintenance and documentation of repairs.

    Unit operational control validation in accordance with ISO control.

  • Manage all aspects of FST unit operations including troubleshooting.
  • Train in all other supportive operational equipment in the lab.
  • Update and evaluate unit performance tracking data charts.
  • Provide detailed reports on data generated in support of research projects.
  • Maintain throughput pace of scheduled testing priorities.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping of lab workspace.

    Dispose of hazardous waste.

    Participate in sample retain effort.

What You Bring

  • Required Qualifications

  • Solid computer spreadsheet, math and database skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of GC operation (Refinery Gas Analyzer) is a plus.
