Family Medicine opening in ORLocated in Springfield65m to Salem; 110m to PortlandFull-time; permanentSeeking a BE/BC Family Medical physician to join our thriving, growing clinic. We are an independent, physician owned clinic consisting of 7 family physicians and 3 physician assistants located in the Eugene-Springfield metropolitan area in Lane County, Oregon. Our physicians are recognized on the local and state levels as leaders in family medicine.

Our physicians currently serve on boards of directors of the Lane County Medical Society and the Oregon Academy of Family Physician, on the board of directors and multiple committees of Lane Independent Primary Physicians, as medical director of a local hospice, and on the governing board of the recently formed county-wide Coordinated Care Organization. Our ongoing involvement in each of these areas makes us well positioned to be involved in shaping health care reform in our region. Since the spring of 2007, we have been using the electronic medical record eClinical Works.

This robust program allowed us to easily meet the Meaningful Use standards and is an excellent tool to help us to continue to innovative. Our clinic also has an in-house lab and X-ray along with 2 procedure rooms to compliment our 24 exam rooms spread between 4 self-contained pods. We mentor medical students on primary care rotations from Oregon Health Sciences University and often have pre-med students from the University of Oregon following us in clinic.

We are offering interested candidates a chance to join our practice and be a part on the ongoing innovations in primary care. We offer an employed position with a 2-year guaranteed salary and benefits and the option to either extend this employment agreement or to become an owner.Springfield is a family-friendly community where a healthy economy and numerous historical aspects of Oregons past have blended into a vibrant place to call home.
